Hold On To Happiness

Listening to some 80's ItaloDisco. Reminds me of the only happy time I've ever had...3 weeks in the Philippines during the revolution when I apparently was in an alternate universe in which I thought the person I was going to marry actually felt the same way. I was generally happy for 3 weeks out of over a half century, even though it turned out to be illusory.

Not to discount happiness, but it's a decision, no matter what fuels it. You can decide to or not to be happy. If you do, hold on to it as long as you can, and conjure up that memory with a song you listened to. It sure is better than drowning in a bottle of Jim Beam...and cheaper.

Also, just FYI, if you do find that romance that I believe only exists in the movies, hang on to it for dear life.

If ya think I was liberal before...well Tuesday just made me a LOT MORE liberal, if that's even possible. I would rather die of ebola TWICE than to be anything but liberal. With my dying breath and even in the next world, I will fight for equality for all, Medicare for all, reversing human caused climate change, marriage equality, nationalization of all natural resources, replacement of fossil fuels, which are destroying our planet, with green renewable and solar energy, fair and equal pay according to your labor, the re-establishment of labor unions, and other progressive values.

I AM The Resistance and I will always BE The Resistance.

So if you want to stop me, you better have a fuckin' tank and a goddamn tactical nuke in that turret.
